Relationship between Development of Chinese Nonstate Owned Enterprises and Cultivation of Scientific and Technological Competence: An Empirical Study by Granger Causality Test
Based on the data from 1987 to 2003 released by the China Statistical Bureau, this paper analyzes the correlation between the two variables of development of Chinese non-state owned enterprises and cultivation of scientific and technological (S&T) competence by the soft of SPSS, and then according to the non-stationary characteristic of macroeconomic variables, stationary test is done by Eviews 3.0, and adjusts the two variables to be difference stationary. After that, the relationship between development of Chinese non-state owned enterprises and cultivation of S&T competence is analyzed by means of Granger Causality Test, the result indicates that there is bilateral Granger Causality the two variables mentioned above.
