Application of Maximum Principle with Final State Constraints in Gliding Control for Guided Bombs

The optimal gliding control problem is studied for guided bombs.Optimal control theory is used to describe the characteristics of continuous variation in gliding control system for guided bombs. The optimal control model of guided bomb is built and solved using maximum principle with final state constraints and shooting method for boundary values. The shooting method is modified to meet desired performance index, final states and temporal constraints. An example for guided bomb optimal gliding is given to validate the effectiveness of proposed method.
