On H∞ Model Reduction of Continuous Time-Delay Switched Systems
The problem of weighted H ∞ model reduction for continuous time-delay switched system is considered.The delay-dependent approaches are used to construct a reduced- order stable system such that the error system with respect to a given delay switched system is exponentially stable and has a prescribed weighted H ∞ performance.The average dwell time approach and the linear matrix inequality (LMI)technique are utilized to establish suf .cient conditions that guarantee the exponential stability and the weighted H ∞ performance for the error system.A numerical algorithm is proposed to implement the model reduction.The usefulness of the proposed methodology is demonstrated by an illustrative example.
