Cropland Conservation Policies and Measures in Stage of Rapid Urbanization in China

摘要：

Pressure on Land Resources during Urbanization and Industrialization in China is studied in the paper. The cropland conservation policy currently carrying out in China is a comparatively complete system, which includes the management and protection from three aspects of quantity, quality and ecology. The related key systems and policies can be divided into as follows: system of land use regulation, system of prime cropland conservation, system of occupation and reclamation balance for cropland, policies of land development and consolidation, policy of ecological de-farming, policy of land utilization in intensive and saving ways and policy of land environmental protection.
