Theoretical Analysis on the Impact of Land Tax on Urban Land Use
For the purpose of analyzing the impact of land taxation on urban land use, the paper discussed land tax neutrality and the mechanism of land taxation influencing land use. Given that,the paper specifically discussed the influence of the property tax, land price tax and land added value tax on urban land use. The analytical result shows that different tax has different effect on urban land use. Some influences the efficiency of urban land use, while some influences urban land market and changes allocation of land resource, which will then influence the way and the intensity of land use. In detail, some tax is neutral and some is not neutral.
