Animal Waste Elimination by Low Temperature Gasification in Fluidized Bed

Large amounts of animal waste must be safely disposed to avoid environmental pollution. Pyrolysis characteristics of manure compost make it possible for low temperature gasification. In this paper, compost treatment by gasification with steam using Ni/Al2O3 as tar cracking catalyst was represented at relatively low temperature, around 600 ℃, in a lab-scale continuous-feeding fluidized bed reactor. The effects of different operating conditions were discussed.
