The synthesis and Characterization of spherical Mesoporous Silica Templated with Ionic Liquids
Spherical mesoporous silica materials has been synthesized by using 1-methyl-3-octylimidazolium chloride as template and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as co-template. The material was characterized by scanning electron microscopy , X-ray powder diffraction, and transmission electron microscopy. The results show that spherical particles were obtained which have wormlike pores.
