YSW105 - a Novel Water Treatment Agent Suit for High Hardness Recirculating Cooling Water System

YSW105 – a novel recirculating cooling water treatment agent had been developed in this investigation. The simulation and in-situ experiment results showed that the concentration multiple could reach 4.0 when YSW105 had been used in the recirculating cooling water system stated above. The corrosion and adhesion rate of test tube in heat exchanger could meet the standard of SINOPEC when the Ca 2+ concentration in the system were below 1500mg/L, and a plenty of water could be saved. Some important factors, which might influence the corrosion inhibition performance of YSW105, were also discussed, such as the pH, Fe 2+ and Fe 3+ concentration, turbidity, organic impurities and heterotrophic bacteria. The results showed that the effect of these factors on YSW105 was little.
