The Objective Evalunation Methods of Wirinkle Effect
The objective methods based on image processing technique were discussed in this paper to evaluate the wrinkles effect of clothing. An image collecting system was established in this work to obtained the pictures of the garment in use. The image processing technique was applied to study the wrinkles on the sleeves. The relationship between grey curves of the image pictures and the wrinkles was analyzed. Parameters were put forward to evaluate the shape of garment wrinkles on the basis of analysis of experiment. It can be concluded that these parameters can be used to describe the characteristics of the garment wrinkles. It is expected to apply this technique to describe the visual effects quantitatively.
