The Optimization of Clothing Sewing Assembly Line
In order to improve the productivity and to study the way of scientific management of clothing sewing assembly, the conceptions related to the assembly line optimization were introduced in this paper in terms of the combined process, the working group and site, the combination of interval processes. The optimization methods of sewing assembly line organization were also studied and discussed in the paper. This research was applied to the management practice of sewing assembly line organization and the results of different plans were compared for optimization. On the basis of analysis, a computer aided sewing assembly line planning was developed for the planning optimization. The system can be applied to clothing sewing process management.
