Effect of pressure Exerted on Ankle on the Skin Blood Flow of Lewer Distal
As more and more people wear various tight-fit arment, the safety and comfort of garment begin to draw more and more consumers attention. When a body was compressed, many aspects from shape, sensory andto physiological functions can be influenced. In this work, the lower limb was focused, the change of blood flow and temperature of skin at big toe were recorded while a lower pressure and a high pressure exerted on the ankle and non-pressure as well. The results showed that the skin blood flow decreased due to the pressure exerted on the ankle, and as the skin blood flow being obstructed, the skin temperature also decreased. These findings will provide scientific guidance for the design of high-performance pants and stockings.
