Study on Pressure under Different Type Bras
Garment pressure is a major factor affecting the wearing comfort of the bras. In this paper, in order to know the influence of wire on bra comfort, the pressure was measured at 10 points on skin surface when the subjects wear a bra with or without wire during sitting rest, deep breathing and running respectively. The results showed that the insertion of wire in bra may add pressure to the breast. The pressure on several points change in a certain range during deep breathing and running. The relationship between garment pressure and subjective pressure feeling was investigated. The subjective pressure feeling becomes severe with the increase of measured pressure except at certain parts such as shoulder and upper back.
