Fractal Characterization Analysis for Crepe Fabrics Surface Based on FTP

In this paper, Fourier transform profilometry (FTP) was proposed in this article and crepe fabrics surface section contour image based on digital weighted filter was employed. Fractal theory was introduced to analyze the fabric surface section contour image. The fractal dimensions of crepe fabrics surface section contour image were calculated by box counting method. The test results indicated that dimension can be used to character the wave of crepe fabrics surface. The experimental results show that the crepe fabric surface is fractal, the wrinkle degree of the fabrics is related to vision style of images of crepe fabrics surface.
