Stochastic modelling of biological systems: membrane systems in Systems Biology

摘要：

The talk will present an extension of membrane systems, or P-systems, introduced by G. Paun as a bio-inspired model of computation, with stochastic features, and their application to modelling some biological systems, in the frame of systems biology. It will be explained why and how stochastic modelling, Genetic Algorithms and Communicating Classes integrate each other and well fit in the investigation of biological systems.
