Building Fangshan Geopark With Characteristics of Karst to Promote Economic Development of Capital

摘要：

Beijing Fangshan Geopark strides across Fangshan District of Beijing, Laishui County and Laiyuan County of Hebei Province; 114°3648~116°08 16 E, and 39°0957～39°4308 N. The total area is 953.95km<2>, with its 130.80km length in east-west, and 75.09km width in south-north. The whole Geopark consists of 8 scenic areas: Zhoukoudian scenic, (Palaeo-anthro-pological Site of Peking man), Shi-hua Cave, Shidu, Baihuashan-Baicaopan, Yunjust-Shangfangshan, Shenglianshan, Yesanpo, and Baishishan.
