Types and Features of the Granite Landscape in Hexigten Global Geopark, Inner Mongolia, China

摘要：

Hexigten global geopark is a comprehensive geopark which comprise tectonic structures, glacial vestiges, granite landforms, volcanoes, warm springs, deserts, grasslands, rivers and lakes. Through the long-time external processes, especially shaped by alpine glaciations, various kinds of granite landscapes were finally formed in the geopark. According to the major external agency that formed the granite landforms and the shapes of landscape, they can be divided into five types: stone forest landscape, granite mortar landscape, peak forest landscape, pebbly landscape and former glacier landscape.
