On Comparison of the Concepts Between the Geopark Construction and the Ecotourism Exploitation

摘要：

By presenting the background of Geopark construction and analyzing the concepts of the Geopark construction and the Ecotourism exploitation, several similitudes between these two concepts are found: (1) The basic aims are to conserve the resources and environments, educate the locals and serve the local economic; (2) The mode of ecotourisms functional zoning is often used in Geoparks; (3) The import of the community participation is emphasized. For this reason, these two systems should enhance each other in the future.
