The Application of 3S in the Construction of Geopark

摘要：

The application of remote sensing (RS), geographic information system (GIS), and global positioning system (GPS) (3S) in the construction of geopark are introduced. All of these functions can be realized, such as investigation and exploitation of geological vestige, dynamic monitoring of tourism resource, making thematic maps of tourism, spatial analysis, geopark planning, simulating the evolution of geological scenery, the construction of tourism resource database, the implementation of geopark tourism information system et al. Geological vestige resources are furthermore protected. Geopark will get sustainable development.
