DURABILITY MECHANICS FOR LIFE-CYCLE ASSESSMENT OF CONCRETE STRUCTURES

A durability mechanics tool based on the multi- directional fixed crack model for RC in which the material constitutive models are formulated in reference to micro mechanics and chemo-physical events is presented. The rational of the simulation results by the computational system is verified by use of laboratory scale experiments on RC slabs subjected to fixed point pulsation and wheel-type moving fatigue loads under dry and moist conditions. Furthermore, its applicability is confirmed for the performance assessment and evaluation on the remaining functionality of damage RC beams.
