ANALYSIS OF DYNAMIC RESPONSE AND VEHICLE RUNNING SAFETY IN LIM TRAIN--BRIDGE SYSTEM

Based on the analysis of electromagnetic force between the vehicle motor and the reaction plate on the bridge, a dynamic model for analyzing the vibrations of the LIM train and bridge is established. By taking the elevated bridge of the Guangzhou Subway No. 4 as engineering background, the whole histories of the LIM train passing through the bridge are analyzed. The dynamic responses of the train running on the bridge and the ground are discussed, and the influences of different electromagnetic force modes and different vehicle speeds on the dynamic response are compared. The running safety and passenger comfort of the LIM vehicles on the bridge are evaluated.
