SPACE BEAM ELEMENT MODEL CONSIDERING PLASTIC STIFF INFLUENCE OF SHEAR DEFORMATION IN PLASTIC REGION

Paper presents the space beam element model which considering the plastic stiff influence of plasticregion shear deformation and this model can be used for simulating steel rods under cyclic loading. Model considers the plastic stiff influence of plasticregion shear deformation with strain-stress theory under multi-axes stress states. Paper focuses on two parameters, the layout of spring and the length of plastic region. Compared with test, the multi-spring beam element and program is proved to well simulate the plastic behavior of steel elements.
