RESPONSE ANALYSIS OF POWERHOUSE OF HYDROPOWER STATION UNDER HIGH-HEAD WATER PRESSURE
Hydroelectric powerhouse is one of the main buildings that transform hydro-energy into electric energy. The water head of ordinary hydroelectric powerhouse is about 10 meter, and some of it is zero. The water head applied on the Xianrendong hydroelectric powerhouse is 25.83 meter. There is no related reference data about analysis on displacement and stress under so high head water pressure. This type of boundary condition can not be simplified as plane problem according to conventional means for one gable of the powerhouse is restrained by mountain. In this paper, ANSYS software is adopted to build solid model. The analysis of the displacement and stress of the powerhouse under the triangle water load and other loads is conducted. Some results are obtained and suggestions are presented in this paper. At the cross-section mutation and surrounding region, ratio of reinforcement of the wall section should be increased and level interval of the reinforcement should be reduced. In order to increase the tensile cap city of the longer roof beam, the area of tensile reinforcement should be increased and hoop reinforcement should be densified. To increase compression capacity, hoop reinforcement or constructional reinforcement or concrete grade should be increased at the contact face of the upstream and lower river wall with roof beam.
