EXPLICIT INTEGRAL SCHEME OF A NEW PRECISE INTEGRATION METHOD AND APPLICATION
Combining the RPTSIM (renewal precise time step integration method) with the basic assumptions of constant average acceleration method of the Newmark family, a new precise integration method had been put forward, which was called Newmark-renewal precise time step integration method. It was an implicit step-by-step integration method for dynamic response analysis. Although the method was conditionally stable, the conditions were very easy to be satisfied. Based on the characteristics of explicit integral method, an explicit scheme is presented for Newmark-renewal precise time step integration method. Accuracy and stability of explicit integral method are analyzed initially. The explicit scheme is applied in structural seismic analysis. The results show that explicit integral method has great stability and little lower precision than implicit integral method. It is effective and applicable to earthquake action.
