THE STATE OF ART ON COLUMN TO BEAM CONNECTIONS OF CONCRETE FILLED SQUARE STEEL TUBE

The concrete filled square steel tube (CFSST) is studied in the domestic and foreign literatures because of its merits. This article mainly introduces the present research and application on many connection types in the performance, the mechanical behavior and the shear transfer etc, and presents the reasonable new connections applied in the concrete filled square steel tube structure experiment and the engineering design. Finally, some conclusions and recommendations are put forward for the further research on the connection application in the engineering.
