SEISMIC BEHAVIOR TEST ON REDUCED BEAM FLANGE MOMENT CONNECTION LIGHT STEEL FRAME
The reduced beam flange moment connection light steel frame of two stories and two spans has been made. Then a low-cycled reverse loading experiment has been completed. The hysteretic behavior, energy dissipation, rigidity degeneration, failure mechanism, etc. are studied. The results indicate that reduced beam flange moment connection light steel frame performs good seismic behavior, the plastic hinges appear at reduced flange section, and the dissipation capacity of panel zone is well.
