EVALUATING INFLUENCES OF ZONING TO URBAN ECOLOGICAL PARAMETERS WITH REMOTE SENSING
Land use zoning is an important tool to control physical characteristics of developing landscapes, and these physical factors in turn influence ecological process. This paper studied land cover constitution of different land use zoning, and constructed the quantitative relation-ship between land surface temperature and land cover constitution. Land cover information was acquired from IKONOS data based on a decision tree, and land surface temperature was retrieved from the thermal band of Laudsat ETM+data. Analysis results showed that land cover constitution within different land use zonings varied much, and the relationship between land surface temperature and land cover constitution also showed diverse. These conclusions will be useful for the government and land use planners.
