FUZZY RISK EVALUATION OF GEOLOGICAL HAZARD

The risk evaluation of geological hazard is a very difficult work because many factors impact the geological hazard and vast range of geological hazard happening. There are many complex relationships among these factors. The paper analyzes the regional characteristics of geological hazards and points out that there are regional regularities in the distribution of geological hazard classes, generation conditions and constraints of geological hazards. The geological hazard danger and the vulnerability of the object are integrated into geological hazard risk (GHR). The risk evaluation system is built based on factors and characters of geological hazard risk. Up to now, most research has focused on the qualitative analysis and half quantitative analysis of danger and vulnerability and expectation losing. The paper presents an approach based on fuzzy set theory for quantitative analysis of geological hazard risk evaluation.
