THE STUDY ON SMOKE DISTRIBUTION AND VENTILATION VELOCITY FEATURE FOR LARGE CROSS-SECTION ROAD TUNNEL FIRE

On the basis of CFD simulation method, this paper preliminarily carried out analysis of smoke distribution feature for large cross-section road tunnel fire. The simulation scenario of tunnel fire was constructed according to practical experimental results. The influence of ventilation velocity and flue on smoke development in different situations was also discussed. The simulation result could be helpful to make proper fire protection strategy for fire alarm, evacuation and ventilation plan of large cross-section road tunnel.
