THE INFLUENCE OF VENTILATION ON VEHICLE FIRES IN LARGE CROSS-SECTION ROAD TUNNEL
As for large cross-section road tunnel and based on CFD simulation method, this paper analyzed lorry fires under the condition of different longitudinal ventilation velocities. During the simulation analysis, the longitudinal ventilation velocities were set as 3.0m/s, 3.7m/s and 4.0m/s respectively and the intensity of fire source was chosen as 20MW. The analysis of temperature distribution characteristic would contribute to implement effective measures of fire protection facilities for the road tunnel.
