FREQUENCY AND SPATIAL DOMAIN DECOMPOSITION FOR IDENTIFYING OPERATIONAL MODAL PARAMETERS OF BRIDGE
For the operational excitation of bridge was difficult to be detected in practice, a frequency and spatial domain decomposition method was presented in this paper to identify modal parameters. Responding signal excited by traveling vehicle was utilized to estimate non-partial spectrum density. Then singular value decomposition technology was adopted to separate the signal space from the noise space, and modal indicator function was obtained to discern near, even overlapped modal parameters. A real bridge modal experiment was employed to validate this method.
