ANALYSIS OF VIBRATION REDUCTION EFFECT OF LADDER TRACK ON RAIL TRANSIT VIADUCT

In this paper, a dynamic analysis model of viaduct with ladder tracks under moving train load is established. The whole histories of a train running through the viaduct at different speeds are simulated. The dynamic responses of viaduct with ladder track and the running safety and comfort indices of train vehicles are calculated. The calculated results are compared with the dynamic responses of viaduct with ordinary non-ballasted track, based on which the ladder tracks effect on reducing vibration of viaduct is analyzed. The analysis results show that as compared to ordinary non-ballasted track, ladder track has good vibration reduction characteristics.
