Recent progress in the development of zeolitic catalysts for the petroleum refining and petrochemical manufacturing industries
The focus on cleaner fuels, higher quality lubricants, and lower cost petrochemicals has driven the refining and petrochemical industries and their catalyst suppliers towards improvements in conventional zeolites and, in several cases, to the introduction of new zeolites and mesoporous materials. This paper highlights recent developments in zeolites as catalysts for refining and petrochemical applications as well as advances in our understanding of how these catalysts work.
