Zeolite microneedles for transdermal drug delivery

摘要：

Microneedles were fabricated using microporous zeolites and tested for transdermal drug delivery. The intergrown zeolites provided excellent mechanical strength and could pierce through skin (i.e., S. scrofa domesticus) without damage. Controlled drug delivery was achieved through the permeable zeolite wall.
