Ibuprofen delivery systems based on monodispersed spherical MCM-41 materials
Monodispersed spherical MCM-41 materials with different particle sizes and similar pore size distribution were studied as the carrier matrices for drug delivery systems. It was found that the drug delivery rate decreased obviously with the increase of the particle size, which could be attributed to the difference in the pore entrance amount for the drug release and the channel length of the mesoporous spheres.
