Motion Tracking Sliding-Mode Guidance for Threat Avoidance of Homing Missile
A new Guidance law based on motion tracking sliding- mode control method is presented for the terminal guidance of homing missile. This guidance law makes the line-of-sight (LOS) track an arbitrarily given signal so that own missile actuates effective maneuvers to avoid the threat from enemy missile and in mean while intercept the target accurately. Moreover, for a homing missile with passive seeker, the guidance law is able to enhance the obervability of bearings-only target tracking and is robust against target maneuvers and guidance parameter errors.
