The Research of the Digital Signal Processing of All Fiber FOG

For the purposes of the improvement of the accuracy of the All Fiber Optic Gyroscope, the extension of the dynamic range and the simplicity of the electronic circuit, this paper proposes a new kind of signal processing of the Fiber Optic Gyroscope (FOG) with the advantage of small volume and medium accuracy suitable for the medium and low accuracy. The all-digital signal processing is adopted in the FOG to substitute for the traditional analogue circuit and has the advantage of process the signals from three optic parts of the gyroscopes simultaneously. The profile is very simple and its accuracy is about 10(°/h). The dynamic range reaches 500 (°/h). The test results is a prove to the designing above.
