The Design of Data Structure in Chart Modification of ECDIS

摘要：

From the mode, content and function of the chart modification, together with the characteristic of Chinese Sailing Announcement, the data structure of the chart modification is presented in this paper. How to save the disk space is also discussed in it. A software has been programmed to test the data structure. The result shows that the data structure is efficient to manage the data in centralization which also improves the reliability, maintenance of the system and the efficiency of the code. It is simple, flexible and practical for the sailors to modify the chart before sailing, which can assure the safety in sailing.
