Dynamic Calibration Research of Gyro in Strapdown Inertial System on Ship
This paper explores a new method that can be used on the gyros dynamic calibration of the Strapdown Inertial System on ship. With the real-time attitudes result determined by GPS as input of the Strapdown Inertial System on ship, the gyro is calibrated dynamically by reverse computation according to the mathematic relations between the Strapdown Inertial System and the attitude angles. The result of simulation shows that this scheme can improve the gyros output precision to a great degree, which can weaken the affection of the gyro drift in dynamic environment.
