The Design and Implementation of Visual System of a Submarine Voyage Training Simulator
This paper puts forward the design method and the accomplishment process of visual system of a submarine voyage training simulator based on PC. The modularized software made the visual system structure perspicuous and maintenance convenient. Owing to the use of the DirectX SDK, the system could not only access the hardware directly to take advantage of its optimized performances, but also be independent on the hardware. In 3D scene, the using of some technologies made the scene more realism, such as texture mapping, fog and mip-map. To imitate the indicator light on and knob turning, transparent blitting was used in control panel emulation. The docked test shows that the visual system is real-time and the emulated operation environment vivid. The simulation results prove that it can achieve the destination o f training with low-cost hardware.
