Volume Rendering for Three Kinds of Modes
The scanning patterns for obtaining images and volume rendering for three kinds of modes have been studied in this paper. And the concept of volume rendering for sector scanning has been firstly put forward in this paper. Furthermore, the volume rendering of simulated internal organs, the volume rendering from parallel scanning images and the volume rendering from sector scanning images have been realized. Especially, it is the first time for the implementation of the volume rendering from sector scanning images. As the result of the theory and method mentioned in this paper, the volume rendering images for each kind of mode are presented in this paper. The experiments indicate that both the theory and method are correct and practicable as well. The effect of reconstructed images is good. In the meantime, the organs can be seen or hidden arbitrarily by changing opacity. This exhibits the great feature of this method.
