Reflection of the Highly Directional Sound Beams from the Impedance Boundary of Pekeris Waveguide
The solution of the boundary task for a Pekeris waveguide with use of a non-tradicional half-space model and corresponding set of generalized normal waves is obtained. The highly directional phased source of a force located in a soft screen of a Pekeris waveguide is selected as a model radiator. The numerical analysis of a reflection of directed sound beams and diffractional illumination of the lower half-space is carried out at overcritical incidence angles.
