Temperature Disturbance Mechanism of OFH and Controlling Methods
Optical fiber hydrophone (OFH) will be an updated type of marine acoustic energy exchanger of 21st century. Theoretical analysis and experiments show that temperature disturbances is a major factor of influence on system stability of OFH. Anti- temperature-disturbance is a key technique developing practical OFH. In this paper, according to theoretical analysis of mechanism of temperature disturbance, the effective methods controlling temperature disturbances and design scheme are presented, including compensation techniques of sensing element of OFH and Phase-Generated-Carrier (PGC) signal processing techniques controlling temperature disturbances. The results of simulation and experiments show that above methods are successful and feasible.
