Detecting the Launch and Activation Transient Noise Signals Radiated by Underwater High-speed Navigating Object Using Gabor Representation Coefficient
Gabor representation can be used to describe, estimate and filter the nonsteady random signals. The transient signals are produced while the underwater high-speed navigating object starts and it is quite difficult to be detected. Detection of the transient signals by means of Gabor bases is of important application value because they can be structured and own a good local performance in time domain and frequency domain. This paper proposes to apply the Gabor representation coefficient for detecting the activation transient noise signals with unknown arrival time and waveform radiated by underwater high-speed navigating object. A one-side exponential window function is introduced, which seems to be appropriate for the transient modeling, the detection shows us efficiency for the real transient signal
