The New Methods of Reading Views and Making Axonometric Drawings of Composite Solids
The method of how to draw third view by two given views is studied for cutting-type solids. By analyzing the projection features of surfaces at composite solids and the projection position of adjacent visible line-frames, the method of reading views for composite solids by using line-frame analysis method is presented. Meanwhile the method of making axonometric drawing for composite solids by using direct measurement method in CAD software is also put forward. The new method of reading views is formulated and it makes reading composite solid to be visualized. Thus the third view of solids is easy to draw by using this method.
