New Method to Solve General Intersection Points of Two Intersected Cylinders
If two curved solids are intersected, the projection of the intersection line can be determined by connecting the projections of coplanar points after the projection of intersection points are obtained. This paper introduces several graphical methods for obtaining the points on the intersection line of two intersected cylinders. The mathematical relation between two Intersected cylinders is analyzed, and the known projection and the unknown projection are determined. The relative coordinate method is used to obtain general intersection points.
