Technological Study of Vacuum-aided Low Temperature Pyrolysis of Waste Printed Wiring Boards

With the development of science and technology, more and more discarded products are turned into wastes, with a great amount of Printed wiring boards (PWBs). Based on the pyrolysis, the crushing effects of FR-4 discarded PWBs are studied in the paper. On the basis of pyrolysis, broken-up experiments, sieving experiment and observing experiment of degree of dissociation, combined with handover analysis, this paper reaches the conclusion that pyrolysis does not affect the size distribution of PWBs greatly, but has a heavy influence on the degree of dissociation. Final temperature is the most influential factor, whereas constant temperature and starting power do not exert heavy influences on the degree of dissociation. At the same time, single factor handover experiments is supplemented in the design, intended to make research on final temperature and draw the conclusion-the degree of dissociation changes in accordance with temperature. DTA-TGA/DSC- TGA experiments are applied in the paper and inference is made that 239℃ is the starting point of weightiness and the best final temperature may be between 239℃ and 250℃.
