Evaluating Electronic Radiation on Mechanical and Physical Properties of Warp and Weft 100% Polyester Woven Fabric
Attempt for increasing the physical and mechanical properties of artificial fabric is very important especially in military industry. Any type of activity (either chemically or physically) that causes the improvement of physical property of artificial fabric has the share in the quality goods production. One of the methods used for change in physical and mechanical property of polymer is the electron radiation. That with respect to the capability to implement in dry environment and without water and no need of any chemical materials for the Changes and correction properties of the fiber and artificial polymer is taken into consideration and in relation to the textile industry in the absence of any ecological problems and industrial sewage is to follow. In this research, with electronic radiation and different doses, research is done on the samples of warp and weft 100% polyester fabric, firmness and increased warp length, firmness and increased weft length, rubbing resistance and its thickness. Warp firmness of samples according to statistic except has no difference except one sample. Increased warp length and rubbing firmness of the radiated samples according to statistic has meaningful difference.
