A study on the thermal and dynamic rheological properties of tpva
In this paper, the melt spinning processability of a brand new resin of thermoplastic polyvinyl alcohol (TPVA) was studied. The thermal analysis showed that TPVA has very excellent thermal stability with a broad processing window of temperature. The dynamic rheological analysis showed that TPVA exhibits the shear thinning behavior with large strain rate and frequency dependencies, while the temperature does not influence its complex viscosity too much after it is melted.
