Analysis of Transverse Forced Vibration of a Moving Fabric in Tension
Fabric moves along machine direction continuously during weaving, dyeing and finishing processes. Its dynamic behaviour is very complex during processing. While running at a high speed, the fabric vibrates, which has great influence not only on the performance of the machine, but also on the fabric itself. Analysis for transverse forced vibration of a moving fabric in tension is put forward in the paper, meanwhile the calculating formula for natural frequencies of fabric is introduced, and the several mode shapes of the fabric are also analyzed.
