Kinetics of Isothermal Degradation of Thermotropic Poly (p-oxybenzoate-co-ethylene 2,6-naphthalate)
The kinetics of degradation of thermotropic liquid crystalline poly (p-oxybenzoate-co-ethylene 2,6- naphthalate) (PHB/PEN) with the monomer mol ratio 60:40 in nitrogen was studied by the isothermal thermogravimetry. The kinetic parameters of the degradation reaction for PHB/PEN (60:40) were analyzed by the Flynn method and the maximum weight- loss weight rate method.
